4 New Additions in the 2021 Toyota Corolla
- Two new Corolla trims will be available – Apex SE and Apex XSE
- In a few months the Apex trim will hit the dealership lot. The 2021 Corolla Apex is designed to stand out. It will feature exclusive details like an aggressive black-and-bronze body kit, available cement exterior color and bronze contrast stitching seats. As well as a sport-tuned suspension, flow-formed wheels, and available 6-speed manual transmission. - Android Auto compatibility standard on all trims
- In the 2020 model, the Toyota Corolla only came with Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa compatibility. This year, they’ve stepped up the technology to include Android Auto. Now Android users can get the most out of their phone inside the 2021 Corolla. Android Auto allows you to connect your phone to the car display and have all your apps right there onscreen. Tap to get driving directions or talk to send a text message, Android Auto is designed to help you stay focused on the road.
- There are now 10 airbags in the 2021 Corolla
- Toyota has added two new airbags inside the 2021 Toyota Corolla to increase safety. In the 2020 model, the Corolla came equipped with 8 total airbags which included driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags, driver knee airbag, passenger seat cushion airbag, and front and rear side curtain airbags. In additional to those airbags, Toyota has added rear seat-mounted side airbags to further increase the safety of all passengers.
- Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are now available
- In the 2020 model, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert was only available on a few trims. Toyota has made these two safety features standard on the all-new 2021 Toyota Corolla. How do these features keep you safe? Blind Spot Monitor helps alert the driver of vehicle presence in their blind spot on their side view mirrors. Rear Cross-Traffic alerts the driver of approaching vehicles while backing up. These features help enhance the confidence of the driver and focus on the road.
