They Will Replace Car Seats Did you know that even a small fender-bender means any car seats in your vehicle should legally be replaced? This still counts as a collision and any infant/child seat that is involved in an accident needs to be replaced. When you contact your insurance company to report the accident, be sure you tell them how many car seats you had in your vehicle at the time and they will cover the cost to replace them. Other Coverage You Might Not Know About While there are car insurance minimum requirements, there are options you can add to your policy that you might not know are available. Be sure to ask about the following options: Gap Insurance: In the event your vehicle becomes a “Total Loss” gap insurance will help cover the difference between the car’s value and what you still owe on your auto loan. If your car is totaled and is valued at $18,000 but you still owe $23,000 you would still owe $5000 on your loan. Gap insurance covers you in this event. Roadside Coverage: Do not get stuck with a tow truck bill on the side of the road. With this added to your insurance you will be entitled to roadside assistance, some basic repairs, batteries etc. Uninsured Motorist Coverage: If you are hit by a motorist that does not have their own coverage, this addition to your policy will cover you. It’s important your tires are at the recommended pressure level, under-inflated tires can cause a tire to blow, whereas over-inflated tires can cause hydroplaning during wet weather. While checking your tire pressure, look at the tread of your tires to ensure they’re not worn. Keep Fluids Replenished Hot temperatures can take a toll on your cooling system and cause serious issues with the engine. If coolant levels are low, the engine’s temperature will rise. Make sure that your coolant level is at the recommended level (there should be an indication for max level) and if it’s not, give our Parts Department a call and we’d be happy to get you taken care of! Change Air Filter The air filter attracts all kinds of debris to keep your cabin clean, this is great but it can get clogged quickly. A clogged air filter can actually decrease your vehicle’s fuel efficiency and by replacing it, you can improve your mileage by up to 10%. Android Auto allows you to connect your phone to the car display and have all your apps right there onscreen. Tap to get driving directions or talk to send a text message, Android Auto is designed to help you stay focused on the road. There are now 10 airbags in the 2021 Corolla Toyota has added two new airbags inside the 2021 Toyota Corolla to increase safety. In the 2020 model, the Corolla came equipped with 8 total airbags which included driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags, driver knee airbag, passenger seat cushion airbag, and front and rear side curtain airbags. In additional to those airbags, Toyota has added rear seat-mounted side airbags to further increase the safety of all passengers. Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are now available In the 2020 model, Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert was only available on a few trims. The 2020 Toyota RAV4 is a capable SUV that offers a fuel-efficient engine, a smooth and comfortable ride, a spacious interior, and impressive standard driver-assist features. You can choose from six trim levels with the RAV4: the LE, XLE, XLE Premium, Adventure, TRD Off-Road, and Limited. A hybrid version is also available on selected trims. Here's some more information on the new RAV4. more Fuel-Efficient Engine All RAV4 models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that works together with an eight-speed automatic transmission to create 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional, except for the Adventure and TRD Off-Road trims, which feature a standard all-wheel-drive system. The Adventure, TRD Off-Road, and Limited trims come with a special all-wheel-drive system that provides enhanced traction by shifting power distribution between the rear wheels. You'll get good fuel economy from the 2.5-liter engine, which is rated at 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. RAV4 hybrid models feature a 2.5-liter engine that's paired with two electric motors and a continuously variable automatic transmission to produce a combined output of 219 horsepower. With this engine, you'll get an excellent fuel-economy rating of 41 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway. Capable Performance The design of the RAV4 is based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, which provides a longer and wider stance that makes for more responsive handling and a smooth ride. The standard multi-link rear suspension further adds to a comfortable and confident ride by working with the vehicle's natural body rigidity to keep traction steady.
