If you’re looking for a hybrid sedan that will save you on fuel, but you also want good performance and a spacious cargo area, the 2020 Toyota Avalon Hybrid may just be the car for you. In addition, this efficient and spacious sedan also offers plenty of standard and advanced safety features and a well-equipped infotainment system.
You can opt for the Avalon Hybrid in one of three trims: XLE, XSE, and Limited. All models come with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired with two electric motors and a continuously variable automatic transmission. With this engine, you’ll get a combined 215 horsepower and an amazing estimated fuel efficiency of 43 mpg in the city and 44 mpg on the highway. XLE

XSE

The Limited trim boasts all the premier and high-end features that the Avalon Hybrid has to offer. The exterior of this trim receives luxury add-ons like an auto-dimming driver-side mirror and 18-inch super-chrome alloy wheels, while the cabin exudes an upscale feel with quality materials like premium leather and genuine wood. Other nice-to-haves include memory settings, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and ambient lighting. In addition, this trim also comes with a 10-inch head-up display that provides customizable settings and effortless access to convenient features like navigation and the hybrid system.
Although the Avalon Hybrid comes at a higher price than its non-hybrid counterpart, you’ll receive plenty of value for your money.
