What's New for the 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid?
The popular Toyota RAV4 Hybrid introduces only one subtle update in 2025. In 2024, the Toyota emblem at the front and rear was styled with a blue shadow to signify the crossover's hybrid powertrain. In 2025, the blue shadow is gone. The seven trim levels available continue to include the LE, XLE, SE, Woodland Edition, XLE Premium, XSE, and Limited, and these are otherwise unchanged.
Across the full trim lineup, the RAV4 Hybrid is powered by the same engine system: a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine with a pair of electric motors. This 219-horsepower system includes a continuously variable transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The SE trim level adds a sport suspension system. The Woodland Edition comes with a TRD off-road-tuned suspension and all-terrain tires.
The exterior design of the 2025 RAV4 Hybrid holds steady for the 2025 model year. This compact crossover SUV offers a tall roof with a raked rear to optimize cabin and cargo space. The molded wheel wells have a rugged, squared-off shape. At the front, the downturned grille sits atop a similarly shaped bumper. Headlights angle outward from the grille at an angle. They are styled with multiple layered LED elements for distinction. Depending on the trim selected, your RAV4 Hybrid could come with roof rails, power-folding side mirrors, puddle lights, a hands-free liftgate, two-tone paint, and automatic wipers.
The 2025 RAV4 Hybrid is smartly appointed with features like an 8-inch touch display screen or larger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a dual-zone auto climate control system, a wireless internet hotspot, forward collision mitigation, lane keeping, lane centering, and other features offered in all trim levels.
