What's New for the 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander?
As Toyota's largest SUV, the 2026 Grand Highlander provides you with seating for eight and plenty of cargo space for your weekend gear. In 2026, this three-row model will have the same appealing style, features, and power as the 2025 version. There continues to be four trim levels, including the LE, XLE, Limited, and Platinum.
All four trim levels draw 265 horsepower from a turbo 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine. This system features an eight-speed automatic transmission. The first three Grand Highlander trim levels have standard front-wheel drive with the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive. The Platinum trim level has standard all-wheel drive.
The Toyota Grand Highlander has a distinctive personality with an exciting combination of smooth surfaces and crisp definition over the door panels and hood. While the roof runs linearly, the hood curves down toward the flat-front nose. A black element at the top of the nose lines the LED-bolstered headlights. Below this element, the grille is styled with an innovative mesh pattern. The sides of the grille have a stacked accent design. The Grand Highlander's exterior features are a panoramic sunroof, up to 20-inch wheels, LED fog lights, automatic wipers, power-folding and heated side mirrors, and other features.
The entry-level Grand Highlander LE is outfitted with a 7-inch digital instrument panel, a three-zone auto climate control system, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, frontal collision warning, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot warning system, and more. The model's higher trim levels add heated seats, leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, a digital key, a JBL sound system, front and rear auto braking, driver's memory settings, second-row sunshades, a household power outlet, a 360-degree camera, traffic jam assist, a digital rear mirror, and other features.

1. Never tow beyond a vehicle's published towing capacities. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. Follow all instructions in your Owner's Manual.
2. Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and distribution. Always properly secure cargo and cargo area.
