The 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid carries all of the appeal of the three-row Grand Highlander and adds the benefit of a fuel-sipping hybrid powertrain. This year, Toyota leaves the Grand Highlander unchanged from its previous model year. There are two hybrid powertrain options as well as five trim levels available.
The entry-level engine for the 2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid is a 245-horsepower, four-cylinder engine with a continuously variable automatic transmission. With this powertrain, you can choose between front-wheel and all-wheel drive. There is also a Grand Highlander Hybrid Max. This unit gives you 362 horsepower and has a six-speed auto transmission. All-wheel drive is standard with the Grand Highlander Hybrid Max.
The 2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid has remarkable styling with broad dimensions. From the side view, you'll find a flat roof, raked side windows, and crisp accentuation over the fenders and lower door panels. At the front, an A-frame grille is styled with horizontal crossbars. The slanted air vents flanking the grille hold small foglamps. The sharp-angled, LED-topped headlights are connected by a black and chrome accent bar. The Grand Highlander Hybrid's exterior features include up to 20-inch wheels, power-folding and heated side mirrors, a power liftgate, keyless entry, and more.
The base Grand Highlander Hybrid trim level comes with a tri-zone auto climate control system, a wireless phone charger, a 12.3-inch touch display screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot warning system, and other features. If you select one of the Grand Highlander Hybrid's higher trim levels, your SUV may also come with traffic jam assist, a head-up display, a digital rear mirror, and a 360-degree camera. Other high-end features include captain's chairs in the second row, ambient interior lighting, a JBL audio system with 11 speakers, a heated steering wheel, and more.
