What's New for the 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross?
Toyota launched the Corolla Cross in 2022, combining the winning traits of the Corolla sedan with the practicality of an SUV. This model introduces several mid-generation upgrades for the 2026 model year. Updates extend to the style and features.
On the exterior, the 2026 Corolla Cross has a bolder grille pattern. It also introduces Cavalry Blue as a paint color. If you choose the XLE, your new crossover SUV will now have dark gray, 18-inch wheels. The grille and bumper are accented on the front end with thick, dark molding. Molding continues on the sides over the wheel wells and the bottom of the door panels. The sides also add character from the angled, crisp creases and geometrically flared back haunches. Available exterior features include a power liftgate, 18-inch alloy wheels, dark privacy windows, roof rails, and other features.
The 2025 Corolla Cross comes in three trim levels: L, LE, and XLE. All are powered by a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine, which produces 169 horsepower and pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission. While front-wheel drive is the standard setup, all-wheel drive is offered as an upgrade.
Inside, every 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross now comes with a 10.5-inch touch display screen. The all-wheel drive versions also include the cold weather package as standard equipment for the first time. This package gives you heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The base trim level continues to be available with wireless connectivity for smartphone apps, a six-speaker sound system, a forward collision warning system, lane departure mitigation, lane keeping, intersection collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and more.
The higher trim levels build on these features with a wireless charging pad, a blind-spot warning system, an automatic climate control system, remote keyless entry, a push-button ignition, two USB-C ports, ambient cabin lights, rear auto braking, synthetic leather upholstery, parking sensors, and more.
