2020 Toyota Tacoma

The Tacoma is available in SR, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, and TRD Pro trim levels. Depending on the model, you have the options of the Access Cab with a 6.1-foot bed, the spacious Double Cab with a 5-foot bed, or a long wheelbase version pairing the long bed with the Double Cab. SR trim is the workhorse of the lineup and features projector beam headlamps with turn daytime running lights (DRL), color-keyed rear bumper, door handles, and heated power door mirrors, 16-inch steel wheels, a hard-wearing composite bed with moveable tie-down cleats, and an easy-lower removable tailgate. The SR5 offers integrated fog lights and a chrome rear bumper, while the TRD Sport adds LED DRL, wide-angle fog lights, a hood scoop, 17-inch alloy wheels, mirrors with turn signals, and a 120-volt deck-mounted power outlet. TRD Off-Road models have unique styling cues and 16-inch alloy wheels. Limited trim features LED headlamps, chrome-accented door handles and mirrors, and 18-inch polished alloy wheels. The TRD Pro has unique off-road features and badging, sequential LED turn signals, and 16-inch black alloy wheels with all-terrain tires.

Standard power is provided by a four-cylinder 2.7-liter engine producing 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. It's paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. You can opt for rear-wheel drive or a part-time all-wheel drive system. Available for the SR5 and standard on higher trims is a 3.5-liter V-6 engine delivering 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. RWD models have the automatic transmission, but AWD models have the option of a six-speed manual transmission.

With the V-6 engine and available Tow Package, the Tacoma has a payload of up to 1,440 pounds and a maximum towing capacity of 6,800 pounds. When the going gets really tough, the TRD Off-Road offers crawl control, a locking rear differential, five mode multi-terrain select, and Bilstein shocks. The TRD Pro adds higher ride height and Fox internal bypass shocks.

The cabin of the SR trim features cloth seating, air conditioning, a 4.2-inch multi-information display, a tilting and telescoping steering column, and a sliding rear window. The infotainment system has a 7-inch touch screen, smartphone compatibility, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, voice recognition, three USB ports, and six-speaker audio with satellite radio. SR5 models add remote keyless entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an 8-inch touch screen, while the TRD Sport has a power-adjustable driver's seat, power-sliding rear window, and a wireless charging pad. The luxurious Limited trim offers leather seating, dual-zone climate control, and a navigation system, while the TRD Pro features unique leather upholstery and interior trim.

All Tacoma trims feature Toyota Safety Sense with adaptive cruise control, a pre-collision system, lane departure warning, and automatic high beams. TRD Sport adds an auto-dimming rearview mirror, while the Limited has a blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, panoramic view camera system, and rear parking assist. The TRD Pro has an exclusive multi-terrain monitor with camera.
